Colmenar Museum

The project aims to create a garden for the museum, linking the existing building to its new pavillion. 

The new outdoor space provides an opportunity for outdoor exhibitions, areas for relaxation and even a terrace for the new cafe. Hackberry is used alongside native shrub species to create a sustainable garden. Shrub and ground cover species are arranged in parallel lines adding volume and texture to the design proposal.
